Market History
Our Farmers Market
Since 2001, The Gillette Saturday Market has provided the Gillette community with a thriving marketplace for local food producers to enjoy the many benefits of local food. We invite you and your organization to join us! Take advantage of the opportunity to participate in expanding access to healthy food, promoting the local economy, and supporting a thriving and healthy community-year round!
Strengthening The Local Economy
More than 20 small businesses participate in the GSFM. Some familiar faces at the market have participate for years and several are new business entrepreneurs. Money spent at GSFM circulates throughout our community.

Supporting Food Security & Healthy Diet
Fresh vegetables, baked good, dairy, and meats make up over half of the food sold at GSFM.

Growing
The pandemic, as well as awareness of the health benefits of whole foods, have presented us with an opportunity to serve our community in even bigger and more impactful ways with your help.

Roxanne Witt
Roxanne has been a member of the Gillette Farmer’s Market Board since 2022. As a firm believer in local food sustainability, she joined the Farmer’s Market board to help increase the community access to local foods. Roxanne was born and raised in Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2014 with a BS in Business Administration. After spending eleven years at Stewart & Stevenson and HD Supply, Roxanne transitioned to join the family business, operating the marina at Keyhole State Park. In 2019, she made another career change, choosing to become a stay-at-home mom. Upon becoming a stay-at-home-mom she felt the pull to learn more about growing in Wyoming and preserving food. She has been working in her own garden, as well as spending her summer days working with High Plains Grower. Roxanne and her husband Cody currently reside in Gillette with their two young daughters. Last summer Roxanne returned to work as a school secretary at St. John Paul II Catholic School. She is also a dedicated Rotarian, currently serving as the Gillette 2021-2027 Area Governor. In her spare time, Roxanne enjoys spending time with her family, baking, canning, reading, and working out.
